In my 2 years of working as an assistant teacher, I have realised that a teacher fulfils a role much greater than a parent to a learner. The attitude that you show towards a learner will greatly Impact their lives, be it in a negative or positive way. I believe that I interact much greater with a learner when we are on the sports field or on a bus on our way to a sports match.
Teaching is a way of life, not a mere profession.
