About Nkosinathi
My name is Nkosinathi Mahlangu, and I am an Information Technology student with a strong passion for software development, databases, and helping others learn. I enjoy breaking down complex technical concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations, making learning less intimidating and more enjoyable.
I have experience tutoring programming-related subjects and believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance, patience, and practical approach. My teaching style focuses on understanding concepts rather than memorizing them. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and build confidence through hands-on practice.

I teach SQL in a simple, practical, and beginner-friendly way. My goal is to help students and beginners to understand the logic behind databases rather than just memorizing commands. I use real-world examples, exercises, and step-by-step explanations so that students can build confidence and solve problems independently.
I am proficient in English, isiZulu and isiNdebele, and I can teach in either language depending on the student’s preference.
A typical lesson includes a short explanation of the topic, guided practice, and hands-on exercises. Students will learn how to write SQL queries, filter and sort data, use functions, work with joins, create tables, and understand basic database concepts. I also help students prepare for tests, assignments, and practical assessments.
My lessons are aimed at beginners, college and university students, and anyone starting their SQL or database journey. Whether you are struggling with the basics or want extra practice, I will adapt the lesson to your learning pace and help you gain confidence in SQL.
