About Madison
Although I haven't had a tutoring job before, I was the student in the class that would further explain how to solve problems to other classmates after a lesson ended. I would help them understand the parts they missed or didn't get. I've always had a passion for helping others in this way. I've learned that sometimes it's better when another classmate explains because of simplicity and this is something I try to do. I don't want to overwhelm others with all the formulas they need to know, I want to help them understand each piece of the problem and why a certain formula works.

I'm a very patient individual who understands that not all students learn the same. I would bring different methods to each session to help each student learn and solve problems in the most beneficial way. These could include but aren't limited to online resources, visuals, physical demonstrations, etc. I would also teach in a way that they are absorbing the content and not just memorizing answers. I genuinely want to help and make sure this is a worthwhile experience. I'm able to tutor students from grades K-9.
