About Fatoumata
I’m a highly motivated and dedicated high school student with a 4.0 GPA and a passion for learning and teaching. I have a strong academic foundation in Math, Science, ELA and History, and I enjoy helping others understand complex concepts through clear explanations, analogies, and visual aids. Teaching is more than a skill for me, it’s a passion, and I love seeing students grow in confidence and succeed. I’m patient, professional, and an excellent communicator, and I approach tutoring with energy, optimism, and a “never say never” attitude.
Outside of school, I’m pursuing pre-med and am deeply interested in supporting marginalized communities and helping others grow. I’m a creative person who enjoys artsy projects like crocheting and drawing, and I’m also a big music fan. I focus on self-improvement, reflection, and reading self-help books, always aiming to grow and encourage those around me to aim high as well.
I bring leadership experience as a big sister, a student ambassador, and a teen activist, which has helped me develop responsibility, organization, and advocacy skills. I genuinely enjoy helping others, whether it’s tutoring, mentoring, or simply offering support, and I approach every challenge with positivity, hard work, and a drive to inspire and uplift those around me.

I’m a visual learner myself and excel at using analogies, stories, and visual aids to help students understand and remember complex concepts. I know how to break down material into clear, manageable steps and tailor my approach to each student’s learning style, including peers who learn differently or need extra support. I’m patient, approachable, and passionate about helping others build confidence and reach their full potential.
