About Rohan

I'm Rohan Dhameja, a high school student with a strong passion for math.

With years of experience in advanced math and science courses—including my current studies in AP Calculus BC and AP Chemistry—I bring a deep understanding and passion for these subjects to my tutoring. Furthermore, I am currently a Software Developer in our school's FRC robotics team, one of the only teams in the world to have won multiple world championships. Through my experience in coding our robot each year and in teaching freshman and new members, I have become proficient in my programming and teaching experience.

My goal is to empower students by building both knowledge and confidence through clear explanations and hands-on practice. Known for my approachable style and commitment to each student's growth, I strive to make challenging topics understandable, relatable, and enjoyable, ensuring each student feels prepared and motivated to excel.

Hey, I’m Rohan Dhameja, a high school math and STEM tutor at Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, California! Throughout middle and high school, I’ve developed a strong foundation in advanced courses across math, science, and STEM. I have participated in many prestigious mathematics, including events such as AMC 10, HMMT, and BMT. Currently, I’m enrolled in AP Calculus BC and AP Chemistry, which deepens my understanding and allows me to stay connected to the challenges my students face.

My teaching approach emphasizes breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, fostering not just understanding but also confidence. I use techniques like real-world examples, interactive exercises, and targeted problem-solving strategies to reinforce learning. A typical lesson begins with a brief review, followed by concept introduction, guided practice, and independent exercises to ensure mastery.

What sets me apart is my ability to relate to students and make challenging topics feel accessible and even enjoyable. My lessons are tailored for both middle high school students, particularly those preparing for advanced courses, AP exams, seeking to build a stronger STEM foundation, or simply wanting to achieve new limits in their understanding of coding. Whether the student is a beginner or advancing in AP-level classes, I’m here to help them succeed and feel empowered in their studies.
