About Matilda
As someone who cannot learn through traditional studying methods such as note-taking and memorisation of textbooks, I am aware that the methods we are told and taught are not always the most effective or efficient for everyone. However, over the years I have discovered many methods that I believe are capable of fast-tracking the learning process whilst making it more engaging, hence preventing distractions and allowing identification of weaker areas.
Having been in the position of feeling both hopeless and helpless, stressed out beyond belief, I can relate to the belief that there is no chance of achieving your goal. However, I am also aware of the difference one tutor can make, and I hope to be that.

Having tutored relatives and other students within my school in the past, I tend to take more of an active learning approach involving practice questions to identify weak points and coming up with memory aids, just as a few examples, rather than just explaining concepts and reading through notes.
I am available primarily in the evenings, however morning and afternoon lessons can be arranged if needed. Length of a lesson can be as long as requested.
Willing to tutor from primary school level to A level.
