About Keelan

Hello! My name is Keelan, and I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and excel in Math and Science (along with SAT Prep). I am a senior Psychology student at Boston University with extensive experience tutoring K-12 students over the past three to four years. I’ve worked as a Mathnasium Instructor, independent tutor, and one-on-one ABA therapist for children with autism, allowing me to tailor lessons to diverse learning styles and provide individualized support. Before transferring to BU, I studied Cognitive Science at UC Davis, where I completed advanced coursework in Biology, Calculus, and other sciences. I am highly dedicated and will put my full effort into helping you master challenging concepts in a way that makes sense to you. My goal is not just better grades, but true understanding and confidence in the material. I hope to make your learning journey both more enjoyable and successful!

About the lesson

I focus on making individualized lessons and prep that are tailored to your preferred type of learning. I prioritize enjoyment and engagement to assist with conceptual understanding. It is important to me that I adjust lessons to tailor better to the student's needs. I have over 3-4 years of experience tutoring K-12 Math including Calculus, K-12 sciences (Biology), along with Math and SAT prep. Alongside being an independent tutor and student, I am an ABA therapist providing 1:1 instruction for children with Autism.
