I am a student at BYU studying to be a speech pathologist. A little bit about me is I love to read, run, ski, boat, and be with my friends! I have worked as an elementary school substitute and I love teaching! I think that learning can and should be a positive experience for everyone!

As a tutor, I focus on creating a positive, engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged and supported. I use a student-centered approach that includes positive reinforcement, interactive activities, and tailored explanations to match each learner’s style. A typical session begins with a quick review, followed by guided practice using clear examples and real-world connections, and ends with a reflection to check understanding. I prioritize breaking down complex topics into manageable steps, helping students build both skills and confidence.
What sets me apart is my experience working primarily with elementary students, as well as with middle schoolers, and my ability to adapt lessons to meet each student’s needs. I’m passionate about making learning fun and helping students develop a growth mindset. My lessons are best suited for students in elementary and middle school across subjects like math, reading, writing, and study skills.
