About Jingkai
My name is Jingkai Lin, I'm a PhD student at the School of Chemical Engineering, the University of Adelaide. I graduated from Uni Adelaide with a first-class-honours degree (6.5 out of 7 in GPA). My grades over most courses are HD (over 85). I have worked as a mentor for helping freshmen at the Uni for a semester. Also, I have worked as a course assistance in some chemical engineering courses. I have also taught 2 students year 12 math and chemistry in China for a whole summer vacation and they all gained a great skill of learning and got the good grade in their end-of-semester exam in the following semester. I also got experience as a teaching volunteer in Thailand.

My teaching method is teaching the student the problem-solving skills, which can help them to solve not only that specific question but also any other kind of questions.
The lesson structure would be 20 min of theory lecture and 30 min of Giving one or two example questions. The rest of time: practice several similar questions. I'll record the presenting of theory lecture and example problem solving before the class and sent it to the student. If the student has any question, he/she can ask me directly in the lesson and I'll change my first 20 min of theory lecture to question-answer section and use two more different example questions to the following 30 min.
The reason I do this is I hope student in my lesson can gain knowledge and practice by themselves.
