About Sarina
Hi! I'm Sarina, a student at Columbia University with a passion for helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. I've been tutoring for several years, working with students across a wide range of ages and subjects, and I believe that with the right guidance, every student can succeed. I tutor everything from elementary school math and pre-algebra to algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, AP Calculus, and college-level calculus. I also help students prepare for standardized tests like the SAT and ACT, where strong math skills can make a significant difference. I strive to create a supportive, engaging, and judgment-free learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. Watching students gain confidence and begin to enjoy math is the most rewarding part of tutoring, and I'd love to help you reach your academic goals too.

As a Columbia University student, I have experience with rigorous coursework across mathematics, the sciences, history, writing and economics. I can tutor students in subjects ranging from elementary school mathematics to advanced calculus, as well as standardized test preparation (SAT/ACT). My lessons are designed for students of all ages and experience levels whether it be elementary and middle school students building strong academic foundations to high school students taking honors or AP courses and college students seeking support in introductory university classes
