About Makenna
I bring the passion and excitement of math and reading to the table. As a person who used to struggle as a child both in math and reading I have found that tutors do a lot to help. So, I decided to better myself in my math and reading all through my grade and Hugh school career. I’m currently in college at university of Louisville. I hold a 3.5 gpa. I graduated high school on highest honor roll. I have also earned As in all of my math and literature courses. I have a passion to help others grow in their learning environment.

My name is Makenna Petrusek
I’m a tutor for beginner math and reading levels and more advanced reading levels.
I charge between $20-$50 an hour.
$20 is just for math or reading.
$40 is for both math and reading.
$50 is for advanced reading.
Tutors ages 4-7 years old (for beginner math and reading)
Tutors ages 8-12 (bit more advanced reading)
I bring passion to the teaching of math and reading with a patience and supportive approach. I mainly tutor hands on. I do believe children work better when they’re getting involved in what they are learning.

My rate is between $20-50 an hour.
$20 is just a basic package of either a beginner math or beginner reading tutoring session.
$40 is for both beginner math and beginner reading tutoring session.
$50 is for a little more advanced reading tutoring session for older kids.
I can also do tutoring for later elementary school math as well but that would be the $50 price since it’s advanced.
