I build up a project. I divide it into simpler and easier steps. Then one by one I ask the student relevant questions related to the goal of the project. This practice develops a student's analytical and problem solving abilities. Then I present different ways in which a problem can be solved. The student selects one. This enhances a students decision making abilities. Then I guide the student to write the relevant code to solve the problem.
