About Tristan

I am a 20 year old male college student at St. Johns River State College. I am currently taking Differential Equations, and I am especially passionate about mathematics. I used to teach STEM concepts to grades 1-6, and I would regularly tutor them with their math homework. This has helped me to explain mathematical concepts to my colleagues effectively. I also love music; I think about the harmonic series all the time!

Hopefully we can have a good time learning some math together!

About the lesson

Hi! My name is Tristan...

I am a 20 year old student in college, and I take pride in my ability to explain concepts in multible different ways. I have worked with elementary kids for a while, so teaching to the basics is not new territory for me.

I will have a white board and some markers ready to go through and explain every step of the solution to your problem. Once we figure out where you get stuck at, I will help you to find a method that you understand best. I can give you examples that you can follow along with, and I can give you formulas that you can copy down. When you understand how to solve the problem, I will gladly assist with broadening your knowledge of how to solve similar problems.
I'm a big believer in understanding how the math works rather than remembering a multitude of equations. Allow me to help you break apart your problem into simple terms and understand how to solve similar problems!
