I'm a 20 year old student studying philosophy and psychology at Durham University in the United Kingdom. My degree involves a lot of reading and writing so I can assure you of my fluency! I offer sessions that last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. As someone who has worked with both children and young adults, I’ve developed an adaptable teaching style to suit your particular needs. Whether you’re a school aged student following a specific course or an adult looking to improve their english, we can work together to devise a plan to ensure your learning objectives are met.
In terms of my qualifications, I am British so english is my first language. I studied english to a high level at school, achieving a 6/7 in my final year exams. As a student studying philosophy and psychology at one of England’s top universities, I write extensively. My fluency and proficiency is reinforced by my results, having received a 2:1 in my most recent exams.
Tutoring an A level student in philosophy helped develop my ability to plan lessons and explain concepts. In addition, working with a young Italian girl on developing her reading skills has given me direct experience of teaching english as a foreign language.
