About Jérôme
I am an engineering student at the École des Mines Nancy (Energy department, Energy Transition) with a double diploma with the IFP-School (Energy & Markets department). Passionate about science and economics, I specialize this year in the energy markets. Last summer I had the opportunity to volunteer for 3 months as a teacher of Mathematics and English in Peru for students aged 12 to 17. This 3 month experience was for me the opportunity to realize how much I enjoy teaching. So this year I am offering Maths, Physics and Chemistry courses for college and high school students (up to Terminale S level, specializing in Maths). I can also help students in microeconomics.

I have been helping struggling students for several years now. Very attentive to the needs of the student, I know how to adapt and understand the real needs of students in difficulty. Typical course sequence: - Either the student sends me a message with the concepts he wishes to address during the course (I can thus prepare in advance specific exercises if necessary), or the student presents me directly with the concepts he wishes to address when I arrive. We then work on the concepts in question and prepare the future exams of the student so that he arrives calmly at the exam and can pass it and get a very good grade. - I also teach the student to become independent by teaching him work methods that will allow him to be much more efficient at his work. - During the course, most of the time we make a summary sheet of everything the student did not understand and write the answers to his questions in this sheet. At the end of the course, the student therefore has a summary sheet of all the answers to the questions he may have asked me during the course.
