About Ramon
Teaching has always been something that I have been passionate about, especially for those who love the voice. I have also been improving my voice with the help of Dr. Match and Dr. Reyes. I want to start showing what I have been taught by sharing those vocal techniques. I have a firm belief that warming up is the most important skill that a vocalist, especially a new vocalist, needs to learn. With that, I believe the person should have fun when they are learning; there is no point in doing it if you cannot find the fun in what you do. I want to keep that passion and that love of music true to you and who you are while being introduced to new music as well.

A usual lesson of 1 hour would focus on warming up, while teaching them how to warm up themselves. We would be working with many different pieces of music, especially in different languages, such as Spanish, Italian, German, and English.
I have worked on voice for over 10 years with the direction of Mrs. Jocelyn Leonard at Fennville High School. I have been in many different choirs as well, with one of them being the MSVMA State Honors Choir TTBB of 2024. I have also been awarded a state solo rating of Division 1. I have worked with Dr. Michael Match, Dr. Eric Reyes, and Prof. Pamela Peirson.
I am pursuing my Music Education in voice at Hope College, taking these lessons to gain more experience for my degree and to work with students from diverse backgrounds in singing. I also love teaching voice to students who care about it.
