About Joel
Hi! My name is Joel and I am a student at Macquarie University. Teaching is my passion and I love working in partnership with you to help you find your own groove with your study and help to understand those tricky concepts. I would like to provide students with extra help on not only their school work but their studying techniques. The pace of the lesson will be set at what the student is feeling comfortable with to ensure the content is understood. I also like to give a helping hand to help students better understand concepts in their own way which is especially important in science and math where conceptually the content can be quite confusing. I like to do 30 minute sessions with the option of 1 hour sessions. I focus most of my lesson plans around working in schools and with teachers in the classroom knowing what they are looking for from their students work. I have years of experience with teaching students in schools both one on one and as a group and can adapt to a students requirements and strengths!
