About Cynthia
I am an undergraduate student that is currently majoring in Accounting, meaning I work with a lot of numbers. Levels of math I have taken are algebra, geometry, pre-calculus and AP calculus. When I babysat I would help the kids with their math HW walking them through questions step by step which made it easier for them to complete it.

My teaching method works by having my student come in with some work and problems that they do not understand how to do. I will then ask them the way they were taught to solve it, whether it’s a good method for them and then walk them through step by step on how I do and ask them guiding questions along the way. A typical lesson plan is I will explain the area the student has trouble with, do some questions/problems they were given that they don’t know how to do together and then in the end give them more practice to do on their own to see their improvement. These lessons can be for anyone from grade 2 through grade 8.
