About Chase
I am currently a sophomore at St. Mary's College of Maryland pursuing Physics, Mathematics, and Music. I am currently a Classroom Assistant for the physics department and the secretary for their physics club. My academic background includes AP Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus BC, as well as self-studying AP Physics 1. I also played in many orchestras, from the NextGen Youth Orchestra to community and school orchestras. In college, I have taken Fundamentals of Physics 1 and 2, as well as Vector Calculus. Additionally, I am part of their orchestra and recital programs, continuing ten years of viola experience and picking up the cello, and am currently in the process of switching majors to both Physics and Music.
In middle and high school, I maintained above a 4.0 GPA, earning the honor roll every semester. Additionally, I received first place in science at the North Museum Science Fair and participated in chamber ensembles and instrument showcases, and was commonly the section leader as a violist. I graduated as a Nominee for the Danforth Award, received a Work-Ethic Diploma, and was awarded a Senatorial Scholarship for my academic achievements. Furthermore, I was awarded the Trustee Scholarship and the Monument Scholarship at St. Mary's College of Maryland for being in the top ten percent of students admitted.
Throughout my academic career, I have been tutoring students both in one-to-one and classroom settings with a 4.8-star average rating. I have worked with students ranging from kindergarten through college in mathematics, science, and music lessons. Additionally, I served for a semester as a Classroom Assistant for the Math Department at St. Mary's College of Maryland, helping set up the classroom, prepare students, answer questions, and grade papers.
