About Jack Dylan
Studying for a degree in Theoretical Physics at Newcastle University. Previous mentoring experience both privately and at Cramlington High School where I previously studied. Received highest possible AS/A-level grades in Maths/Physics and all their individual exams, including Further Maths modules.
As a student whose academic career had previously waned, I can relate but more importantly, understand what it takes not only to achieve the highest grades but as I've shown, to become so comfortable with any problem that full marks and potential Maths tournaments, are not out of reach.
Although this is a relatively new venture for myself, having never entertained the prospect of tutoring in the past I have somewhat been coaxed by previous mentors, peers and relatives into offering my knowledge and experience to others on the account of my passion and skill in Mathematics. They and now I believe, it could potentially really help prospective students achieve their aspired grades.

The lessons I offer are made as open and unrestrictive as possible. Although students who, relatively speaking, are struggling more, may find these lessons more beneficial. I can guarantee however all willing pupils will benefit from the methods I personally used throughout the course of my studies.
Each lesson will begin by approaching the chosen topic objectively and proficiency in its fundamentals will be established. This is crucial as it importantly facilitates more efficient use of time, as students are less inclined to be bogged down and confidence can be maintained.
How information is conveyed is dependent on the student and I am adaptable in that regard. I do prioritise however the use of engaging activities to aid in the retention of said info.
Problems that require more intuition for cognitive development are encouraged and no matter the outcome of the problems encountered, it should be made to feel like an accomplishment.
