About Katrina
I have been playing piano for 12 years and violin/viola for 10. I have always been passionate about music and have been writing music from a very young age. I was a chorister at Bristol Cathedral and currently sing as Head Girl at the Cathedral Consort. I took A-Level Music and received an A*. I have grade 8 qualifications in singing and viola. I have experience teaching children in Cub Scouts.

I teach by example, showing students how theory concepts and analysis can work in practice. I like to show students how academic ideas can apply to real life and try to show them how concepts can make material sense, rather than teaching by listing concepts and expecting students to memories them. I would like to give students a passion for all types of music.
