My teaching method is with our first lesson I ask the student to present questions that they might have. The next lesson I give the student, I would have given the student a past paper to complete and I will mark it to get a better understanding what the student struggles with. I do this because sometimes the student isn't aware of what they don't understand, then I focus on the areas I see the student struggles with.
