About Lottie
I am currently in my 3rd year of an integrated Master's degree at Oxford studying Earth Sciences. I have 6 years' experience tutoring AQA GCSE Maths students with a 100% pass rate, and I also studied the current syllabus myself at GCSE, achieving a grade 9. At A-level I studied Maths, Chemistry and Geology, achieving an A* in both Maths and Geology, and an A in Chemistry and I achieved a 1st in my first year of university.

In the first or second lesson I ask the pupil to complete a chart showing where they think their strengths and weaknesses are, using a traffic light system (green means they're confident at that topic, whereas red would show they needed support). I then use this to plan my lessons, using a combination of worksheets, practice questions and past paper questions to work on both understanding of the topic and exam technique.

Lottie maths tutors my 14 year old daughter in Year 10 as she works towatds her AQA GCSE mathematics.
