About Rish
Hi, I'm Rish, a Computer Science student at Purdue University — one of the most prestigious engineering and technology institutions in the United States — graduating in May 2027. My academic background gives me a strong, up-to-date foundation in both mathematics and computer science, which I bring directly into every tutoring session.
I specialize in K–12 math, covering everything from foundational arithmetic to Statistics, Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry, as well as SAT and ACT preparation. In computer science, I teach introductory Python, C, SQL, and essential CS concepts in a way that is clear and accessible for beginners.
I am patient, structured, and genuinely invested in every student I work with. I take the time to understand exactly where each student stands before deciding how to move forward, ensuring that no one feels rushed or left behind. My Teaching Method
I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my style to what works best for you. I rely heavily on visuals, worked examples, and practice problems to make concepts click.
My go-to method follows three simple steps: I first solve a problem to demonstrate, then we work through one together, and finally you tackle one on your own. This gradual handoff builds genuine understanding rather than just memorization.
What Sets Me Apart
My biggest strength as a tutor is quickly pinpointing exactly where a student is struggling. Instead of wasting time going over things you already know, I zero in on the specific gaps holding you back. This saves time and makes every session count.
Who Are My Lessons For?
