I am currently scientific terminale international option of the British baccalaureate. Fluent in English, I am able to give lessons for any level, both to improve oral and written level. I studied during my three years of high school within the International Option of the British Baccalaureate (OIB), selective course including courses in English literature, geography and English history according to the expectations of British A levels, justifying my abilities in this language (C1-C2 equivalent according to European levels). I am very motivated to transmit my knowledge and my determination, being convinced that the latter is the key to academic success, in close collaboration with confidence in one's capabilities. I thus hope to be able to combine conclusive results with the pleasure of rigorous and efficient work. Being a secondary school student myself, I know how to perceive the vagaries of college / high school life in general with certainty. I acquired from my personal experience a rigor and a working method, thanks to which I remained constant throughout my school years: these are the tools, essential to long-term success, that I would like to instill above all. Studying is not a sprint but an endurance race that I believe I can help young people of my generation to overcome at best. I have been a presenter at several Mathematics forums and have given private lessons for a few years. I therefore have experience in teaching and benefit from the necessary hindsight to adapt to my interlocutor and to his own difficulties by always showing patience. I thus adapt my methodology to each student according to his ambitions, his desires and his level, in comprehension and oral / written expression.
Furthermore, in the case of OIB students, I insist on the discovery of analytical reasoning in order to improve literary sensitivity and transform technique into automatism. For example, through work on baccalaureate subjects as well as analysis of copies to precisely target the areas for improvement: practice makes perfect! Time and draft management are also key points to the efficiency under review. I particularly do methodology courses for high school students who want to improve in writing Critical Appreciations and Essay writing, which is an essential skill for the baccalaureate. I also focus my lessons on specific objectives, more particularly, the acquisition of skills specific to the Key Points of the literature exam. I can also teach future OIB students to better understand this demanding option in their working method, to limit the gap between the expectations of middle and high school, even more necessary in this option.
