About Tolu
Hello, I’m Tolu, a 1st year medical student at University of Manchester and have recent experience in taking GCSE and A level exams and I use that to improve both the understanding and the application of anyone that I tutor. With a dedicated but relaxed personality, I am able to relate with students and get the best out of them.

I tutor a wide range of ages up to GCSE in Biology, Chemistry and Physics and I have a special interest in Biology and Chemistry as I undertook both in A-levels, achieving an A* in A-level Biology. I achieved Grade 9s in all my sciences at GCSE and recently completed my A-levels, receiving 3 offers from different medical schools.
As a recent school leaver, I am very familiar with the GCSE curriculum and understand the challenges that Science may offer students both in being able to understand the content but then also have the skills to answer the questions in the right way to pick up the marks required. My sessions are therefore based fully around the student. If a student would like to focus on understanding the content I make sure that I am able to build a solid foundation and fill in any gaps that the student may have. However, if a student would prefer more technical based help, I make sure we answer a wide range of exam questions on a subject, identifying common trend that may lead to a loss of marks and providing the student with the skills and the knowledge to pick up marks in an exam. My sessions are fully tailored to each student and no students will have similar lessons. I aim to help the student find the best way for them to learn and use that to improve their confidence and ability in Science.
I am a very friendly tutor, always looking to help and keep session fun, interactive and create a positive space for the student to learn. I fully understand the importance of education and I hope that I can help your child exceed their expectations and to become confident in their education.
