About Iyad
My name is Iyad Elbouanani and I attend an accelerated 7-year BS/MD program at Sophie Davis. I aspire to become an orthopedic surgeon and utilize my time outside medical practice to address New York's health disparities. I have conducted research on racial disparities in outpatient care, the human/equine gut microbiome, and the pharmaceutical industry. I am an AP Scholar with distinction, NHD website competition winner, and ARISTA/ARCHON member. I received 5s on all of my AP tests throughout high school and can help students tackle numerous degrees of STEM and humanities subjects.
