About Yassin
I am currently a student at Dubai British School. When I transferred into the British curriculum in Year 10, I faced a huge challenge: I had missed out on large parts of the maths and physics content. Coming from a different system where I was one of the top students, I suddenly found myself struggling to keep up and often felt like I was falling behind. Instead of giving up, I adopted a new mindset. From my very first test, I treated every exam as if it were my last chance to succeed. Through consistent hard work, late nights, and a commitment to building the perfect set of notes, I managed to turn things around. That effort paid off — I achieved A* A* A in A-level Chemistry, Physics, and Maths. Now, I want to use the same strategies and resources that helped me transform my own results to support other students who might be in the position I once was. My goal as a tutor is not only to teach the material but also to show students how to study effectively, gain confidence, and reach the grades they deserve.

I offer two ways of teaching: For students aiming to pass: I provide notes that cover the most common A-level questions, along with the answer structures and the working-out required. This way, even if you don’t reach the final answer, you’ll still gain method marks. For students aiming for an A*: I have detailed notes that explain the ins and outs of the course, plus concise summary sheets that cover the larger, high-value questions in the Edexcel A-level specification.
