About Dexter
I've always enjoyed maths. It's a subject that on the surface is a simple yes or no, but once you fully understand it, becomes limitless: its applications, its complexity and its beauty. I would love to help show you how powerful it can be, and hopefully get you a better grade along the way!

I do 1 hour lessons for maths gcse at £10 an hour.
I acheived 9 for maths gcse, A* for maths a level, A for further maths and im currently studying Maths with Computer Science at the University of Southamtpon.
My teaching method:
1) Immediate concerns.
If there are any areas your child feels they are particularly uncomfortable with, or that will appear in a test soon, we can look at those first.
2) Identifying weaker areas.
Next I will guide them through a past paper, in order to identify what they do and don't know, to expose them to the real thing and introduce them to the best resource for revision.
3) Working on Individual areas.
Next we will look at each area I identified as potentially weaker and walk through problems from a textbook together.
If we do this a few there will be a significant increase in test results and exam performance.
