About Oluwatumininu
Oluwatumininu(Olu), has a Bachelor's and Masters's degree in Performing Arts. She is currently studying feminism and global women's studies /gender studies at the University of Galway. She has tutored a diverse range of people from different social, religious, and cultural backgrounds. She has worked with children and adults on issues that include sexual violence, stigma, race/identities, stereotypes, and domestic/physical violence. she has a special interest in tutoring and creating awareness on issues that may affect and limit the potential of young people in seeking a better future.

As a teacher, I have been able to teach a diverse group of students between the age of 6 and 20 yrs. I had the opportunity to teach students through collaborative learning which involved critical thinking, small group discussion, and peer review on topics such as domestic/physical violence, sexual violence, discrimination, stereotypes, and other gender-based issues. This method of teaching allows students to fully participate in class discussions and to make inquiries on topics that may seem unclear. Also, students develop the confidence to express themselves in class and in life.
