I am a student at Pitt and am working towards my bachelor's of science in mathematics. Helping has always been my number one goal in life. I enjoy reading and working and find it hard to not have something to do. I love being the motivation in someone's life and understand sometimes you just need that little push to get started!

I have always had a passion for math, and I love working with kids. I have peer tutored a high school algebra class, where I assisted students with problems alongside the teacher. I am looking to tutor younger kids, grade 5 and below. My lessons will focus on propelling your child forward with assistance that allows one to think for themselves while also allowing for a helping hand when needed. I will consistently ask questions to challenge your child to better grasp the subject yourself. One lesson plan will typically center around what your child struggles with the most at that point. I will assign problems like ones given in class and go from there. One tutoring lesson will be at least 1 hour long and at maximum 3 hours, generally one lesson will take approximately 1 hour.
