About Grégoire

I started my journey with a preparatory literary class training (with courses in history, geography, modern letters, Latin and ancient culture, English and Spanish, and philosophy). Then I continued with a bachelor's degree in performing arts (with varied courses in theater history, cinema and art history, practical courses in cinema and theater, photography and English based on the game of actor). This license was included in a double course with the conservatory of dramatic art of Amiens, in which I followed a training in the practice of acting (with dance, lyrical singing, diction and course on the voice and the peculiarities of language in the theater). I finished my training with a two-year master's degree in theatrical research-creation. I staged a contemporary French play. This directing work led me to establish a direction work on my two actors in relation to the work of language, body and emotions and voice. Currently, I am continuing my training as an actor at the theatrical training studio in Vitry-Sur-Seine. A training that allows me to prepare for important competitions that will allow me to integrate the national theaters accessible by audition.

About the lesson

My French lessons are aimed at students who do not speak French, and at students who want to improve their skills. My courses are aimed at students from the third class, students who are in high school (any section combined), but also to students who are in university cycle and who have difficulties in written and oral expression. For students who do not speak French, I can work on his homework according to the teachers' request, but I can also go further and make him progress. We will always start the course with a dictation, whether it is a poetic, theatrical or novel text. This allows me to spot errors, and target the next dictations on the usual traps in which the student falls. We will then study a text associated with the field of poetry, theater, novel or argumentation. From this text, I assess the reading and comprehension capacities of the student on this text. I then establish a level and a series of exercises around the text and around the level of the pupil. These exercises concern how to say the text, to find the right tone. They also concern the study of vocabulary. The pupil will then be able to transcribe the text into his own language, and we will work together on how to transcribe it in French, orally and in writing. I then work on the oratory presence, on the way to overcome stress in front of the public, on the way to synthesize a thought previously worked on in the draft (especially if it is a defense, or a bac oral) . Regarding written expression, if it is an essay or a text commentary, we will work on the methodology (how to design the introduction, how to target the issues and issues of the text, and how to design the plan, the conclusion, and the development, the way of passing from textual examples to arguments which open the field of reflection). I can also work on the methodology of writing composition work. I adapt to the style and thought of the student. And I try to perfect his style, to adapt it according to the writing codes of the text. Depending on whether we are dealing with a poem, a play or an epistolary novel. I open the field of my course around a reflection on the genre and the literary and historical context around the text or the author worked. My knowledge can range from ancient Greek literature to contemporary writings (knowing that my field of predilection concerns contemporary theatrical writing).
