About the lesson

I am currently in my third year of my undergraduate degree in university. I give lessons to elementary and middle schoolers as well as post-high school adults. Furthermore, I have worked with students with learning disabilities across all ages. As a tutor, I like to take a hands-on approach and dive into material that interests my student, helping them read, pronounce, and understand readings that they enjoy. Most of my English lessons are reading based. I use readings as a way to build on vocabulary while working on oral skill as well as comprehension. I am also very open to adapting my teaching methods to what work best for the student as well so that the student feels they are getting the most out of each lesson.

About Raina

I am a university student of French and Spanish who has been tutoring for 3 years. I have been tutoring in public schools and worked with over forty students. My students have done exceedingly well in reading comprehension and achieved high grades as a result of my tutoring. I am a native English speaker as well and this helps me tutor my students in colloquial English.
