About Preesha
I am a student and I have recently completed my A levels. I achieved a grade 'A' at A level Spanish and an '8' at GCSE Spanish. I have been tutoring some students on a weekly basis for slightly over 6 moths and have proudly seen their confidence flourish. I have helped them with the transition from year 9 (Key Stage 3) to the beginning of their GCSE curriculum (Key Stage 4). I am passionate about the subject as I believe that being able to speak another language is a valuable lifelong skill. I am kind, friendly, and supportive. From my own experience of learning the subject in school, I understand that Spanish can be difficult at times, however a fun yet academic approach can take away the pressure of learning and make it an enjoyable experience.

My method of teaching prioritises any difficulties that a student may be having with a certain topic and focusing on that. Otherwise, I usually begin by teaching the basics of the language, for example the tenses, and progressing from there. If preferred I can help with any aspect of the language or curriculum that the student wants to focus on. I would create a weekly plan which would vary for each individual student as everyone works at different paces.
