About Lara

As mentioned, I am a student who is very enthusiastic about French and am currently studying it at Durham University alongside History. I achieved 3 A*s in French, History and Geography A Level (plus an A* in an EPQ). My strong linguistic ability, combined with hard work, means I am aware of the practice and skills needed to achieve top grades. I would really enjoy being able to tutor others as I would love to support students and see their progress. I have much experience with exam technique (particularly the boards Edexcel and IGCSE for GCSE, and AQA for A Level) and my lessons are tailor made to fit the weaker points of the child and ensure that they make the most improvement possible.

About the lesson

I would be able to have one-on-one lessons with students who are working towards exams up to A Level, either via Zoom or in person. These sessions would be tailored to helping the individual with specific aspects of the language, such as reading, writing, listening or speaking. For GCSE students, we will work on how to achieve top grades at GCSE and do specific exam practice.
