About Alina

I currently hold a Bachelor's Degree from King's College London in International Relations. My primary focus was on International Relations in the Middle East, and I wrote my dissertation on identity politics in Russia and its interests in the post-Soviet near abroad. I have extensive knowledge in Public International Law, Global Politics, Global Governance, the United Nations, and numerous other topics and areas of politics.

About the lesson

I give lessons to degree and high school levels, with thorough knowledge of the UK grading system, as well as the International Baccalaureate programme. I work with secondary sources, and prefer not to use textbooks as they are often one-sided, and I intend to give my students a well-rounded and in-depth knowledge of the topic in question. Each student has a program tailored to their needs to ensure that they receive the maximum amount of attention necessary to excel in their studies.

I was completely hopeless writing essays in my first year of university as I was not used to the style of writing demanded by my professors. Thankfully, Alina helped me overcome this obstacle and trained me to write high-quality academic essays - a valuable skill I will be able to use for the rest of my university career.

Alina helped me ace a number of essays I had to write for my degree. Her eye for detail and meticulous writing skills not only contributed to the amelioration of my essays, but also taught me general lessons in the production of written pieces of work.
