About Amelia
Actually, my pivot to teaching happened naturally after 11 years as a quant in fintech. I spent those years refining my problem-solving strategies while working in high-stakes environments.
Holding a Master of Science in Data Science from UC Berkeley, I find that math is the universal language of my engineering career. I have 5 years of experience explaining linear algebra and calculus to students who need more than just textbook answers. I generally work with those prepping for exams or competition math, though I keep my schedule open for hobbyists as well. It is just about getting the logic right.
