About Dhanashri
Hi everyone, I’m Dhanashri. I love teaching because I enjoy making difficult things simple. I know studies can sometimes feel boring or confusing, so I try to teach in a way that’s interesting and easy to understand. In this class, you can always ask questions and be yourself. We’ll learn together and make real progress.”

Here’s how you can approach it effectively:
1. Start with the “Why”
Parents care about outcomes. Explain why your methods are different and how they help their child.
Focus on benefits like:
Better understanding (not just memorizing)
Confidence in speaking/solving
Real-life application of concepts
Example:
“Instead of only focusing on rote learning, I use activities and discussions so students actually understand concepts and remember them longer.”
2. Show Real Examples
Nothing convinces parents more than seeing it.
Share:
Before/after student improvements
Sample worksheets or activities
Short videos/photos of classroom interaction (if appropriate)
3. Offer a Demo Class
This is one of the most powerful tools.
Invite parents (or students) to attend a trial session
Let them experience your teaching style directly
4. Communicate in Simple Language
Avoid educational jargon. Keep it relatable.
Instead of:
“I use experiential learning pedagogy”
Say:
“I teach using practical examples and activities so children enjoy learning.”
5. Highlight Student Engagement
Parents love to hear that their child is:
Asking questions
Participating actively
Not bored or afraid
6. Share Feedback & Results
Testimonials from other parents/students
Improvement in marks, confidence, or behavior
7. Address Their Concerns Directly
Some parents worry that “different” means “risky.”
Reassure them:
You still cover the full syllabus
Students are well-prepared for exams
Your method improves both understanding and marks
8. Keep Regular Communication
Send updates on progress
Share small wins
Stay approachable
9. Be Confident (but not defensive)
If you sound unsure, parents won’t trust the method.
Speak with calm confidence:
“I’ve seen this approach work well with many students, especially those who struggle with traditional methods.
