I am a medical doctor who tutors part-time, bringing the same precision, problem-solving skills, and clarity from my medical background into my teaching. I specialise in IGCSE and A-level science subjects, focusing on building a strong conceptual foundation, improving exam technique, and boosting student confidence. My lessons are student-centred and interactive, tailored to each learner’s needs and learning style. I use a range of proven techniques, clear explanations, visual aids, real-life examples, past paper practice, active recall, and spaced repetition to make complex topics easier to understand and remember. A typical lesson lasts 60–90 minutes and follows a structured format: quick recap of previous material, introduction of new content, guided practice, and consolidation with feedback. I also emphasise exam skills, including how to interpret questions, structure answers, and manage time effectively. I work with students aged 14–18 preparing for IGCSE and A-level exams, whether they’re aiming for top grades or need extra support to meet their goals. My approach creates a supportive and motivating environment, where students feel comfortable asking questions and can steadily progress towards success.
