About Jamie
Hello! My name is Jamie Parks. I studied Japanese at the University of Iowa, and am currently obtaining a bachelors degree in Economics at Arizona State University. I learned the Japanese language as a child and carried it through adult years. I am very passionate about this wonderful language and want to continue to spread knowledge of it!

About the lesson

Objective: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:
1. Greet others and introduce themselves in Japanese.
2. Understand and use basic Japanese phrases for daily communication.
3. Recognize and write the Hiragana script for the five vowel sounds (a, i, u, e, o).
I will be using the Genki Integrated course text book as a guideline for course modules.
The lessons will be for beginner level students, we will start from the very basics of reading, writing, and speaking.
