About Queenie
I’m currently a uni student studying psychology and I’m looking at placement opportunities into special educational needs teaching. I’ve studyied psychology at A-level, so I understand it’s a content heavy course where topics and theories go by quickly and misunderstanding can have a knock on effect on the rest of the course.
I really belive that everyone has a different learning study that school and college sometiems struggle to cater for at the expense of student grades. In the future I want to go into educational psychology for a while to try and support those who need something different to “conventional teaching”.

- An initial talk before we start to understand what you need the most support on, how you want to be taught, and what your goals are
- We will work through all the topics that need to be covered with the freedom to ask questions and for support when you need it
- We will work through writing techniques, identifying question types and revision skills. This will help you to efficiently work through your exams and score more marks as you do.
- At the end of every session a check in will be done to see if they are comfortable with the new knowledge, what we will cover next time and any questions they may have in general about their course
- Pre work for sessions will be set to encourage independent working and revision; so next session students come feeling like they know a little background rather than being thrown in the deep end and becoming overwhelmed.
