About Katie
I have been tutoring people of various ages (older, younger, and the same age as myself) for several years now. I am studying for certification in teaching both music and mathematics from the early childhood level to the high school level. Teaching is my passion, and my love for helping people only feeds it.

My goal as your tutor would be to help you learn what you need and prepare you for your future! That could be anything ranging from:
- Teaching you to count
- Teaching you long division
- Teaching you long division of polynomials
- Helping you through your entire Algebra 1 course
- Helping you make deeper connections that will turn the funny numbers and letters into a language you can read
...and more! I aim to help you with whatever you need as long as it is within my range.
Unless your student is in need of early childhood education, I will NOT be able to provide anything near what a course would entail. I will give your lessons as piggybacks off of what you have been told to learn in your external course. Hopefully I can bridge any gaps that your instructor has yet to fill!
If your goal is simply to pass, I will help you do that, but I will push you to understand enough to retain some of what you learn. That way, you will be able to learn harder concepts with much more ease! If your goal is to study the subject deeply, I will lend you every bit of knowledge I have on the matter.
