Hi there! I'm Nina, a committed and skilled tutor who is passionate about assisting students in realizing their greatest potential. Having worked as a tutor for three years and having a solid academic background in math and science, I am an expert in simplifying difficult subjects. I've worked with students of different ages and learning preferences, and I'm here to help you at every stage, whether your goals are to improve your grades, get ready for tests, or develop long-term confidence in a topic. I support the development of a welcoming, understanding, and supportive learning atmosphere where students are at ease posing questions and considering novel ideas.

I have a very hands-on teaching technique. I provide examples and multiple methods of completion. I then use examples to build positive study methods and create a growth mindset in all students.
A typical lesson begins with a brief overview, followed by a question segment that allows students to express their biggest concerns. This is then followed by brief explanations and topic segments for each topic that the student needs to be covered.
I struggled through my early learning years until I found what worked for me, and I know how frustrating that can be! I have taken previous challenges from my own learning journey, as well as from fellow students, to curate creative and interactive learning experiences that work with all mind types.
My lessons can vary from elementary education to early college STEM courses.
