About Jessica
I am a Microbiology graduate currently studying for an MSc in Bioinformatics, with a passion for science and helping others understand complex topics.
I want to teach because I believe every student learns differently, and I enjoy supporting students by adapting my approach to suit their needs. Having experience teaching children through swimming lessons, including one-to-one sessions, I have developed patience, communication skills, and the ability to create a positive learning environment.

I offer online lessons for GCSE Maths, GCSE Biology and A-Level Biology. Lessons are typically 50 minutes long, with option of 45 or 60 minute sessions to suit individual needs.
My teaching style is patient, supportive and tailored to each student. I focus on strengthening understanding of key concepts and improving exam technique through worked examples, practice questions and personalised feedback.
I hold a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Microbiology and am currently studying for an MSc in Bioinformatics. I have experience working in an NHS microbiology laboratory and as a swimming teacher, where I taught children in both group and one-to-one settings.
