About Harry
I'm a 24 year old programmer working in fin-tech, specifically a Trading Platform.
I've been learning to program since I was around 12, and landed my first programming job at 17. I'm completely self-taught and am extremely passionate about showing younger programmers that there's other routes to a high-paying career, than 4 years at university.
I've touched a wide range of programming applications, including; static websites, UI/UX design, Game Development and finally settled on APIs and Data Pipelines in recent years.
Outside of work, I'm an avid motorcyclist, hobbyist skateboarder and enjoy tinkering with mechanics. I like to challenge the stereotype that's typically aligned with programmers.

I grew up teaching myself to program since I was 12 years old. I'm experienced in self-teaching and open to discussing ways in which you can teach yourself and expand your knowledge efficiently.
I'm new to tutoring on a professional level, but have worked with lower-level devs within my career, and guided them towards higher-level roles.
I'm passionate about showing younger people that they can get into programming without a degree and so my lessons follow this basis heavily. For me, it's about teaching what you need to get your first professional job and expanding upon those concepts. I mostly focus on programming concepts, but I'm always happy to explain how you can improve to land yourself your first job and what employers look for.
My lessons are aimed at young programmers, in education, or people looking to change careers and make a start in programming. My lessons cover the basics, but can be more complex upon request. For the most part, it's a pair programming exercise, where I can guide and improve your code along the way.
