I'm a dedicated tutor with a strong academic background, graduating Summa Cum Laude from William & Mary and with experience as a teaching assistant for AP U.S. History. I'm passionate about helping students from all grades up to high school improve in history, government, and writing. With my academic and professional experience, I possess the tools and strategies to guide students toward success. Outside of tutoring, I'm a huge Washington Nationals fan, enjoy hiking, and can often be found with my nose in a book. I also love playing video games like Madden, so I know how to balance focus with a bit of fun, creating a relaxed and comfortable learning environment. With experience as a teaching assistant for AP U.S. History and achieving a perfect score on the SAT World History subject exam, I have a solid understanding of history and government topics and effective strategies for academic success. My ability to connect with students at all grade levels distinguishes me, making challenging material more accessible and inspiring a lasting interest in history and civics. My lessons are tailored for elementary, middle, and high school students seeking to excel in their coursework, enhance their critical thinking and writing skills, or prepare for standardized tests.
