About Erin
I am a current professor and have taught college level courses to nursing, biology, and occupational therapy students for the past year.
My students are always pushed to do their best. I am very understanding and I have a personal interest in each of my students.

Beyond striving to ensure that students learn the fundamental content of the courses that I teach, my objectives as a university instructor are as follows: (1) to provide a positive classroom climate; (2) to hold students to a high level of expectation by providing challenging and relevant information; (3) to foster undergraduate interest in research and engagement through collaboration; and (4) to support students in their learning journeys by preparing students to function as highly skilled and competent professionals. Furthermore, my overall teaching philosophy is based on two principles which are supported extensively in the literature: (1) active student learning strongly influences student-learning outcomes; and (2) formative and summative assessment procedures strongly influence student acquisition of knowledge.
