About Ellison
With 14+ years of experience teaching flute, I have worked with many school and college students who wanted to improve their musical abilities. Every student inspires me to teach with greater dedication and enthusiasm. I believe that learning should be enjoyable, practical, and focused on steady improvement.
My classes cover breathing control, posture, finger techniques, rhythm, scales, tone quality, articulation, and expressive performance. I encourage students to stay consistent with practice and celebrate every milestone they achieve. One of my proudest achievements has been helping students gain confidence and perform successfully at different events.
Along with flute, I also teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, music appreciation, and beginner composition. My aim is to inspire students to become confident musicians who enjoy learning throughout their lives.

My aim is to inspire students to enjoy learning the flute while building confidence, discipline, and creativity. My teaching methodology is based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity, making lessons enjoyable and effective for learners of all ages.
Lessons focus on breathing techniques, posture, note reading, rhythm, finger placement, tone production, scales, articulation, musical expression, improvisation, and performance skills. Every lesson is adapted to the student's learning pace and goals.
I motivate students by recognizing every success and encouraging consistent effort. Communication remains clear, friendly, and interactive. Integrity helps me build a supportive classroom where students feel respected and motivated to improve.
Creativity keeps lessons engaging through rhythm games, favorite songs, listening exercises, duet practice, improvisation, and stage preparation. Besides flute, I also teach music theory, recorder, beginner keyboard, sight reading, ear training, rhythm development, and basic composition to help students become well-rounded musicians.
