About Andrew
I am an experienced violin tutor with 14 years of teaching experience, helping students from school level to working professionals build their musical abilities. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy helping students achieve their goals.
My teaching philosophy is based on strong fundamentals, regular practice, and gradual improvement. I believe that learning violin becomes easier when students clearly understand what they are practicing.
I focus on teaching posture, bow control, finger placement, and note reading before moving to advanced techniques. I also guide students in improving rhythm, tone, and musical expression.
I have successfully trained over 150 students, many of whom have improved their confidence and performance skills. I create a comfortable and encouraging learning environment. My goal is to make violin learning a smooth and rewarding experience.

My teaching style is centered on making violin learning clear, motivating, and practical for students. I use real-life examples and case studies to explain concepts like rhythm, pitch, and expression so students can easily understand and apply them.
I focus on essential fundamentals such as posture, finger placement, bow control, and scales to build strong technical skills. I teach step by step and ensure students gain confidence before progressing further.
I also personalize my teaching approach based on each student’s learning style. Communication is very important in my classes, and I encourage students to ask questions and stay actively involved.
I provide regular feedback and guidance to support their growth. I follow values like honesty, discipline, and commitment. Along with violin, I also teach music theory, ear training, rhythm exercises, and performance skills.
