About Rae

With 11 years of experience in flute teaching, I have learned that every student has their own unique way of learning. That is why I create lessons that are simple, engaging, and suited to individual needs. I teach school and college students and focus on developing breathing techniques, posture, finger movement, rhythm, scales, tone production, and musical expression.

I encourage students to practice regularly and celebrate every achievement, no matter how small. Throughout my career, I have proudly watched students grow into confident performers who truly enjoy making music.

Along with flute, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and performance preparation. My aim is to help students become skilled musicians while enjoying every step of their learning journey.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on making flute learning simple, enjoyable, and inspiring. I use Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to help every student reach their musical potential. I believe students learn best when they feel encouraged and supported.

Lessons are carefully planned according to each student's experience and learning goals. Beginners start with breathing control, posture, note reading, rhythm, finger coordination, and tone development. Intermediate and advanced students improve articulation, scales, musical expression, dynamics, improvisation, and performance techniques.

I motivate students by giving positive feedback and setting practical goals that make learning enjoyable. My communication style is friendly and interactive, making difficult topics easy to understand. Integrity helps me maintain honesty, patience, fairness, and respect throughout every lesson.

Creativity plays an important role in my teaching. I include rhythm games, familiar songs, classical pieces, movie music, duet practice, listening exercises, and creative improvisation to keep students interested. Along with flute, I teach recorder, music theory, beginner keyboard, sight reading, ear training, rhythm practice, and concert preparation to develop complete musicians.
